Melanie currently works as the Associate Director of Medical Information and Communications within the Medical Strategy team at GeneDx, serving as a scientific and clinical expert and liaison to internal partners. She was previously a member of the GeneDx Research team. Before GeneDx, she was a Clinical Genetic Counsellor working directly with patients and their families, specializing in metabolic genetics, newborn screening, and pediatric rare disease for over 10 years.
