Buccal swabs are accepted for over 97% of GeneDx’s genetic testing menu for easy at-home specimen collection. See the individual test pages for the specimen types accepted for each test.

We can send a printed Informed Consent form to your patient along with the buccal kit. Choose the appropriate consent form to send in one of four languages (English, Spanish, French, or Arabic) when placing the order in the GeneDx Portal or email zebras@genedx.com.

Our clinical team is available via email and over the phone and to support providers through the entire ordering process, including providing you with verbal results, if needed.
OPTIONAL TELEGENETIC PATIENT COUNSELING
