To ensure that a patient’s test is billed to their 2024 health benefits, testing must be started before the end of the year. For exome, genome, or Xpanded testing, if you do not expect parental samples to be received before the end of the year, please contact us at support@genedx.com to determine how to proceed.

Do you accept specimens transferred from other laboratories/vice versa?

Yes. We accept specimens from other laboratories and can mail specimens to other laboratories. The healthcare provider needs to complete a “Specimen Send-Out Form,” which can be obtained by emailing support@genedx.com. Please supply a FEDEX account number for payment. You can send the completed form back to us via email to support@genedx.com or by fax to 201-421-2010. We will then send the specimen to the requested lab.
