In order to ensure 2023 billing, testing must be activated before the end of the year, or within 30 days of proband sample collection (if sample was collected in 2023). For Exome, Genome, or Xpanded testing, if you do not expect parental samples to be received in time for testing to be activated with 2023 billing, please contact us at support@genedx.com to determine how to proceed.

Please let this serve as a courtesy notice that GeneDx will no longer be accepting test orders for the Decode DEB Program after November 10, 2023.
While the collaboration with GeneDx will be coming to an end on November 10, 2023, access to no-charge genetic testing for dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa (DEB) will continue to be available through Krystal Biotech. If you have any questions regarding the continuation of the Decode DEB Program, please reach out to your Krystal Biotech Regional Gene Therapy Consultant, call 1-844-5-KRYSTAL, email decodedeb@krystalbio.com or visit DEBFacts.com.
All GeneDx Genetic Test Reports resulting from test orders submitted via the Decode DEB Program that are received on or before November 10, 2023 will continue to be issued as usual, per the reporting preference(s) listed on the GeneDx Test Requisition Form, and within the normal turnaround time for GeneDx Test Code TL45 (2-3 weeks). If you should have any questions regarding test orders submitted to GeneDx through the Decode DEB Program, please continue to reach out to the BioPharma team via biopharma@genedx.com.
Testing for any orders submitted via the Decode DEB Program that are received after November 10, 2023 will be placed on hold. Our GeneDx clinical team will reach out to discuss testing options.
