Darlene joined GeneDx in March 2009. She graduated from the genetic counseling program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). While in graduate school, she worked with the Reproductive Genetics Program at UAMS, assisting the genetic counselors, coordinating the rural outreach (Tele-Medicine) clinic and managed follow-up of abnormal prenatal findings. Before joining the GeneDx team, Darlene worked as a genetic counselor in the Hereditary Cancer Program at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. Darlene currently specializes in array CGH testing at GeneDx. She is a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors.
