Daniela is a new member of the GeneDx team, and was recently appointed Director of Cardiology. Daniela came to us from her native Costa Rica, where she was director of the Molecular Genetics Laboratory in the Newborn Screening Program at the National Children's Hospital. Prior to that, Daniela earned her medical specialty at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where she trained for three years as a postdoctoral fellow in DNA Diagnostics. In 2005, she passed the American College of Medical Genetics Boards in Clinical Molecular Genetics.
