Peutz-Jeghers Syndrome

  • STK11 (Serine/threonine protein kinase II)
Using genomic DNA obtained from blood in EDTA (lavender top tube), all coding exons of the STK11 gene are screened by bi-directional sequence analysis (exons 1-9). Concurrently, targeted array CGH analysis with exon-level resolution (ExonArrayDx) is performed to evaluate for a deletion or duplication of one or more exons of this gene.

Pre-symptomatic diagnosis is available.
