DNA Specimen Collection and Shipping Instructions

Laboratory clients are welcome to submit high quality genomic DNA specimens prepared in a CLIA-approved laboratory. The ideal concentration is 50 nanograms per microliter (0.05 micrograms per microliter). Please state the concentration sent.

The total amount needed is:
        - For sequencing any gene of >10 exons, 20 micrograms
        - For sequencing any gene of 2-10 exons, 10 micrograms
        - For sequencing 1 or 2 known mutations, 5 micrograms

        - For CopyDx quantitative PCR, 5 micrograms

        - For GenomeDx oligoarray CGH, 5 micrograms. CALL 301-519-2100 or

Ship DNA using your packaging at your preferred temperature (ambient, cool, or frozen). An express courier is recommended for tracking purposes.
