Anne Maddalena, Ph.D., F.A.C.M.G.

is Vice President and Associate Clinical Director of GeneDx, Inc. Anne joined GeneDx, Inc in 2004 as the Associate Clinical Director, after establishing and directing the clinical molecular genetics laboratory at Genetics & IVF Institute in Northern Virginia for 16 years. She remains on the adjunct graduate teaching faculty of the Human Genetics department at Virginia Commonwealth University. Anne was board-certified in clinical biochemical and molecular genetics in 1990, is a founding fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics, and participates extensively in writing ACMG's technical guidelines for major molecular tests including fragile X syndrome. With doctoral and post-doctoral training in Immunology, Anne is GeneDx's in-house specialist in immune system disorders and bone marrow failure syndromes.
