Senior Genetic Counselor
Chris graduated from the University of Pittsburgh’s Genetic Counseling program in 2009. Research for his graduate thesis involved performing family health history sessions in the African American communities of Pittsburgh and discussing risks to participants for chronic diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, hypertension and several types of cancer. Prior to employment at GeneDx, Chris has worked at GlaxoSmithKline in Collegeville, Pennsylvania where he was involved in antibacterial drug development and was introduced to genetic counseling while working at Albany Medical Center in the Pediatric Genetics department. He is a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors.
